"It's happenin' now at Penn Can Mall!"

-Classic photos sent in by Mike Hepp - page 2 -

From 1979, this was some sort of fashion show. Strange, I don't remember a store called Denby's at all.

Christmas season, 1979. Once again, you can click on any of these pictures to see them in their original size.

The main entrance, circa 1984.

These next 3 photos are from when the roof of the Amancio store in The Mall collapsed during the blizzard of 1993.

I definitely would not liked to have been browsing for socks when this happened.

Here's the front of Amancio after the cave in. Had I not known better, I would just have thought that they had some awfully bright lights in the back of the store.

From December 18, 1991 - Ted & Amy from 93Q, a mall manager with large eyebrows, and a woman who won a car. I wonder if the mall manager looks so shocked because they're all standing in 6 inches of "mall snow" and he's the only one without a sweater.

October 31, 1985 - that kid's costume is smokin'! Sorry, I had to do it. Anyway, I heard that his costumes got worse every year. By 1990 he was dressing up as a giant crack pipe.

This is a great picture of center court from 1985 when they were having a showing of circus... uhh... model parts. Or something. When I first saw this picture, I immediately wanted to see what movies were playing at Loews that day - Pale Rider, St. Elmo's Fire, and Cocoon.

DJ Bob Brown from 93Q on the wheels of steel in 1985. I wonder if Bob knows that there's a guy behind him with his head inside The Clock.
